Hello world! Welcome to our blog.

The story so far: I work for Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (“the Department”), and am being posted to Jakarta, Indonesia with my wife of six months (well, almost six). After two years of working for the Department, we’re down to thirty-four days left here in Canada, and couldn’t be more excited.

Ideally, both my wife and I will be posting to the blog, and we’re looking forward to adding photos as we go. If all goes well, we’ll keep up with it, and we hope that you will too.
